Nonprofit Leadership and Management (NPLM) Youth Academy

The Nonprofit Leadership and Management Youth Academy Programme build the managerial capacity of young and emerging nonprofit leaders between the ages of 18 and 35 in Africa. The programme has been designed to cultivate three pillars of competencies required to lead a nonprofit organisation – leadership effectiveness, business fundamentals, and social innovation. Participants will have an immersive learning experience in leadership and strategic planning, exploring nonprofit organisational development; human resources and volunteer management; financial stewardship and corporate governance.

Participants are equipped with the skills required to elevate their voices and enable them to respond to the intersectional and cross-cutting challenges faced within society. Participants learn about feminist leadership principles and skills to grow their organisations and movements to build purposeful careers in the nonprofit sector and lead important social innovation initiatives with refined tools and greater confidence.  This programme is supported by Ford Foundation West Africa, and outstanding applicants are eligible for scholarship support.

Fee: N2,130,000 / Subsidized Fee: N200,000  (Scholarships available)
